Strengths
Nines hold context. They forgive faster than most, see the shape of a situation from outside it, and are trusted with things people tell nobody else.
The gift is proportion: a nine can tell you which of your problems is actually the problem.
Shadow
Martyrdom, and a habit of ending things quietly rather than saying what went wrong.
Nines also disappear into causes. It is easier to carry a movement than to say what you personally want on a Tuesday.
Work
Humanitarian work, the arts, medicine, teaching — causes larger than one career. Completion is a nine's real subject: the ending done properly.
Beware of being the person who absorbs everyone else's unfinished business.
Love
Nines love broadly and are slow to let one person be closer than the rest. The cause is safer, and it never asks for anything specific.
The work is particularity: choosing one person, out loud, and letting that be a smaller and more exposed thing than loving everybody.
